NEW NAME "NovaShine®
- Member of the FlareFlex® family"
Since we still keep on developing new effect pigments, the FlareFlex® family of metal coated glass flake pigments is starting to grow. Therefore our well known
silver coated grade – formerly known as FlareFlex® is now called
NovaShine®
This measure provides us enough space for new developments throughout
the FlareFlex® family of effect pigments.

"Production capacity further increased"
The still rising demand of our specialty products forced us to enter a second scale up step and thereby increase our production capacity initially to 20 to/year.
Especially the FlareFlex® range will profit from this capacity boost. Together with our complete, independent in house glass flake processing this is an important added value to reliably serve the market.

By further developing our FlareFlex® range, we used our 39 year experience in silver coating and have created a one of a kind pigment that enters a new dimension in reflexion an hiding power. Its brillance is absolutely unreached on the market.
The still unique stability of FlareFlex® is well known throughout the cosmetic branch, where the
discoloration of silver - like it occurs with similar far east products - was a problem for many years.
FlareFlex® shows no such discoloration or oxidation, neither at the standard atmosphere, nor while incorporated in a cosmetic formulation.

"We have launched FlareFlex® and Mecofill®"
FlareFlex® - Sparkling Silver is a silver coated, glass flake based, special effect pigment.
It sets new standards in brightness and brillance. The field of application ranges from automotive coatings to plastics, powder coatings and cosmetics.
MecoFill® are silver coated glass fillers for conductive applications, such as EMI shielding or conductive inks.
FlareFlex® and MecoFill® are the result of a 3 year lasting R&D effort and are our answer to the fast growing demand for specialty pigments and functional fillers.
