Applications |
| Mecofill® silver coated hollow glass spheres (Microspheres) are electrically high
conductive additives. By the use of light weighty hollow glass spheres as substrate,
besides a very small density of the filler is obtained. This combination opens a number
of interesting operational areas, which from cost reasons are not accessible to pure silver.

 |
|
 |
| Mecofill® silver coated hollow glass spheres show a small setting off behavior and are
suitable thus among other things for the formulation of conductive coatings or adhesives.

Features |
- pure silver as coating material enables low final product resistances.
Depending upon silver content and amount of filling values, resistances are reached within
the range of 10-1 to 10-3 ohm cm.
- from a particularly developed coating process an excellent adhesive strength from silver
results to glass
- chemically inert light weight borsilikate glass withstands highest temperatures and preassures
and reduces at the same time the density of the filler. The reproducible particle size distribution
makes an optimal conductivity network and a continuous final product quality possible.
